Where do the indoor and outdoor mini-split units actually get placed?
Indoor units are typically mounted high on an exterior wall to optimize airflow and make routing the lines directly outside fast and smooth. The outdoor condenser sits on a firm, level pad on the ground, or can be mounted securely to your home's foundation using heavy-duty wall brackets. Typically you will have one Condenser outside, and that one unit could run multiple heads to multiple zones or rooms inside the building, while allowing you to control the unit in each room individually
I have a Boiler Currently, can we replace it for a Mini Split?
Absolutely. Elite has done many homes just like yours. Replacing and aging boiler for a Mini Split will give you the cool in the summer you need, while installing a wall hung Gas hot water heater will keep your water going strong.
What kind of regular maintenance does a mini-split require?
While Minisplit systems have much less maintenance the traditional cooling systems, Elite Heating and Cooling has maintence plans designed to keep your system running its best for years to come. We provide 2 services per year to clean system before heating and cooling seasons. Regular preventive maintenance does need to be done to keep the filters cleaned.
